Very Cool. What Ikea desk are you using? Have you looked into using Auralex foam stacks on the desk? They Isolate vibrations from your speakers very well and look pretty good. You could also hit them with a little paint as well.

I plan on picking up some Auralex Isolation Pads, just have build the stands first.
